Use BPR to remove blood, milk, eggs, mud, perspiration and body discharge. BPR can be safely used on silks and wools without causing fiber damage. When used after applying Neutra, it will help speed up the process of stain removal.
Apply and allow the product to penetrate the stain. Tamp or work the stain with a spatula.
Flush with cool water or steam. Repeat if necessary. Procedure may be repeated on heavily stained areas. Wetclean or launder as normal.
Apply and allow the product to penetrate the stain. Tamp or work the stain with a spatula.
Flush with cool water or steam, utilizing the vacuum from spotting board. Use air gun to remove excess moisture. Apply a leveling agent, like Easy-Out™, before cleaning to control moisture and prevent water rings. Dryclean promptly.
For removing deeper set stains, heating the treated area with steam gun increases the alkaline action of BPR to aid in protein stain removal. Apply a few drops of NEUTRA™ or similar neutral lubricant before using BPR to help speed stain removal. For fabrics that are prone to pilling, it is recommended to apply NEUTRA before working with spatula. Sometimes protein stains require digestive action for complete removal; stubborn stains and heat-set or very large tannin stains can be removed through the use of Laidlaw RSR® digester or Street’s Devour® liquid digester.
In the unlikely event of a color change on fabrics when using BPR®, the immediate application of Super-Tan+™ or Street’s StreeTan® will often return the dye to its original color.
