Tiger

Tiger is a combination detergent for load process (Injection) use in perchloroethylene.

An effective cationic injection detergent, Tiger is formulated with sizing and optical brighteners that are designed to remain on cleaned garments. Tiger is completely soluble in solvent; it is picked up and absorbed evenly in the load with no splotchy cleaning or plugged filters. Tiger is Adco’s premier combination injection detergent for perc because it provides:

• Superior cleaning power and stain removal
• Excellent moisture control to help effectively remove water soluble soils without adding additional water
• Excellent control over redeposition
• Elimination of sticky zippers
• Antistats for effective static control
• A truly effective optical brightener system that competitive products do not match for uniformity and intensity
• Brighter colors and whiter whites
• Sizing and conditioners to give excellent but soft hand and drape to finished goods
• Sizing to speed finishing and help restore the “like new” look and feel to garments, without building up on fabric or equipment
• Versatility: may be used in a one-bath or two-bath cleaning process

Use Instructions

Load Process (Injection) Use

• Although not required, for best results, a 3-minute batch prewash is recommended to remove loose soil, grease, bleeding dyes, and stain removal additives.

• After 1 minute of fill, and once garments are wet with solvent, inject  Tiger either into the wheel, fill line, or button trap.

• For optimum sizing, and soil and stain removal, inject  Tiger at a rate of 4 oz per 10 lbs (or 260 mL per 10 kg) of garments.

• Run 5 minutes with circulating solvents, bypassing filter (milling) to release soil.

• Run an additional 5 to 10 minutes on filter to remove released soil.

NOTE: Fragile garments should be run 3 minutes on batch (or milling) then 5 minutes on filter to reduce mechanical action. Do not prewash.

NOTE: A 5-minute pre-rinse to the still is recommended for heavy soil or potential dye bleed items.

NOTE:  Tiger does not contain water. Addition of small amounts of water (by injection or prespotting) can optimize results in dry climates. Tiger will handle limited amounts of additional moisture when used at the recommended dosage.
