The carbon used in PURITAN cartridges is activated to exacting standards. The activation process creates a highly porous structure with a vast internal surface area for more effective, long-lasting dye adsorption.

• Maximum Carbon Volume.
The PURITAN All-Carbon Cartridge contains the largest amount of dye adsorption capacity possible for supplemental dye control in most filtration systems.
